In short: Great race again In full: I did this race in 2009 as well, I think it was easier last year. The first loop was done the other way around so there was a gradual climb away from the house, followed by the sharp descent. Not complaining though, I knew it would be this was around this time and I had braced myself for THAT hill! A well organised race, two minor issues... not enough loos (again) and after running a PB, my motor skills werent good enough to juggle two drinks bottles, packets of energy products and nut bars and the medal of course!.... a bag was needed as I kept dropping it all back to the car park!!! That said, it was ALL greatly appreciated... munched my way through most of it on the way home. Date of review: February 7, 2010

In short: Wow those hills tried to kill me! But conquering them made my year. In full: This race was delayed by a few weeks due to the snow that hit the country. It was worth the wait! I didn't get anywhere near my personal best, but I didn't care. I can't fault anything with the course at all. There were enough port-a-loos, which was nice! The only downside was the large queue for race times at the end. I gave up and got changed and then went back for my race time when the queue had died down. Date of review: March 1, 2009

In short: A good run with excellent hills. Officials were very friendly, although needed better crowd control. In full: The race was good with a nice course, unfortunately the race started half an hour later than advertised and there was confusion about where people were to stand with some accidents due to people walking over the finish point of the wacky relay.
