In short: Great fast race In full: Great race, lots of downhill sections to help pick up some good speed, the organization and marshals were excellent and very friendly.
My only qualm was upon entering the sports field at the end and then realizing I had to do a lap of the track but that was made up for by the excellent grandstand finish. Date of review: July 5, 2009

In short: Brilliant! In full: A lot hillier than I'd expected, the 2nd Km in particular but overall it was a good race, the marshalling and organisation was exceptional. Extremly friendly! Would recomend for beginners (I am one and I survived) but only if your prepared for some hill running. Date of review: April 1, 2009

In short: A great race, extremly difficult but "fun" and friendly. In full: This was my very first race and what a way to start - with a run up Europe’s biggest sand dune, I thought it would be ok after that but it gets harder with a 1 mile run up the side of a mountain (maybe some would call it a hill but it was definatly a mountain to me!).
I was apprehensive going in as it was my first race as I mentioned earlier, I knew it was going to be a tough run but more so because I don't look like a runner so I figured I'd be looked down on by the more serious runners but it couldn't have been further from the truth, the organisers and other runners were extremely supportive and friendly.
This isn’t a race for the feint hearted and probably not the best for newbie’s to get started on but if I could do it then there is no reason why anyone else couldn’t but if you do follow my footsteps then please please please, do plenty of practice on hill running. Date of review: January 31, 2009
