In short: great day out
In full: Well worth the drive from Derbyshire, It was a sunny day the route was mainly on quite lanes which made for a realy enjoyable run, the bit on the A20 was not that bad as the traffic was not to bad , big thanks to all involved for making it a great race.

In short: great race hot day
In full: Started on time , with a mile run along the canal bank which got you ready for the first climb which is longest on the run . you are mainly running on old train track for the first 23 miles to Ashbourne then its mixture of road and trail to Derby . the route markings where first class, never on the route did I not know the route. Well done!! only downside being a vegge sausage rolls, choclate bars and sweets on such a hot day where not very appealing , but it must be hard to trying to please everyone. Dried fruit is very good for giving extra energy .

In short: great race and a nice medal
In full: second time for me, and I again enjoyed it, it was a bit windy, but what do you expect when running outdoors. I traveled from Derby, and will do it again next year I hope.

In full: My second time but missed last year, but weather a lot better than 09. well run race no trouble getting race number and goody bag at the end , I really like this race it as some hills but not to bad but the downhill is on the way back so you can cover the last bit quite fast. hope to do it next year.

In short: THERE AIM TO BE ONE OF THE TOP TEN,I think they already are
In full: This is my tenth marathon, and by far the best from start to finish it was great, lots of support from locals, water stations just right, and the finish at the race course was a nice end to a great run, just one very small point, could not seem to find my way out, some exit signs from the finish areas would be good. Well done I will be singing your praises to our club members

In short: well run and worth the trip
In full: everything went to plan ,and the sun came out as well, this a good race even though I am not keen on two lap races,( I HATE GOING PAST THE FINISH LINE HALF WAY ROUND ) but I was aware of this when I entered . I could recommend as a good local race which did have a personal feel to it

In short: Ver boring course
In full: Like last year red hot, but its the weather and that,s that. I enjoyed last year's route but this year was awful mile after mile of new souless by pass roads with constant heavy traffic next to you, and some places the foot path was only a single person width, price was great but I would pay more for a nicer route Marshalls where very supportive and other than the route no complaints.

In short: great race
In full: my first out of city marathon, so it was great to be in fantastic countryside. It was a very well run race, and top marks to the event team everyone of them seemed to care about the effort you were making to get round this tough course, at 66 I have said I did not want to do the same marathon again, but I think I can forget that idea, and do hope to be back next year.
