In short: No traffic this year - fantastic to run
In full: Great that they closed the roads this year - made it so much more enjoyable

In short: It started by the side of the road with 2 tents and a few portaloos. But when the race got going, it was great!
In full: The organisers were so lucky it didn't rain. A van or something selling tea and coffee would have been appreciated especially by the hardy supporters who turned out.

In short: Fantastic views, great marshalls and water stations. A great marathon
In full: The marshals and support on the way round were great. There was no shortage of water, squash or jelly babies. Fantastic goody bag at the end, and lovely scenery. If they could iron out some of the hills next year that would be great.

In short: Why didn't they divide start into pens
In full: Everyone at the start was all lumped into together. They could have easily sectioned it off into sub 30, sub 45. Even if they had put walkers in a different area. I spent first km dodging around everybody.

In short: A great race in terrible conditions
In full: The torrential rain and driving wind reduced all the ratings. The marshalls were fantastic - all soaking wet and freezing cold, but very supportive.
