In short: Weather couldn't be helped, thank you to the course marshalls
In full: As others have said this was not a flat course too many short sharp inclines and turns. Weather was atrocious and large parts of course flooded, meaning you then had to run on slippery grass/mud - I know not the organisers fault. Start area was nice and wide but went onto the redways to soon which in turn caused congestion. Hats off to all the volunteers around the course and local residents out giving support. Was it me? but there didn't seem to be any medical resources around the course i.e. St Johns / 1st Aiders. The finish area what an anti-climax that was, "an electric atmosphere at the finish" is how the official site was describing it pre-race. Would have been nice to actualy have known where the finish was! Goodybag was rubbish and baggage retrieval was an absolute joke even not taking into account the horrendous weather, no good having 1000+ bags on each truck and 1or 2 people trying to hand them out.

Then I get an e-mail 2 days ago asking to me to give feedback - sorry 5 or 6 tick boxes do not constitute feedback. Hopefully the organisers will read all the reviews on this site and take onboard the comments, then I may do it again in 2014 after reading reviews for 2013!

In short: Sort the start out please
In full: Overall not a bad event good course with the exception of the start which is far to narrow for the amount of people participating. Took me 10mins to cross start line! Drinks stations didn't seem to be able to cope with the amount of runners although I did get a drink at all. Some of the support around the course was minimal to say the least however was brilliant at start and finish. Would have appreciated a the collection of the "goody bag" taking less then 20minutes, good job it wasn't cold and raining because for what was in it wasn't worth the wait. Big city runs have moved on from cheap cotton t-shirts. Would I do it again yes but not every year if it clashed with Wilmslow.

In short: Timing Chip helped greatly with dispersal of runners at finish
In full: I have always enjoyed this race, as always excently supported and marshalled. The use of the timing chip has greaty improved the finish. Whilst the finishing medal [ glass hologram paperweight] is very nice and decorative, I personaly would prefer to have a cheaper medal and a higher quality technical t-shirt,instead of the cotton one.

In short: Another well organised event by all involved
In full: This was my tenth Wilmslow they have all been fanatastic and superbly organised. As with other peoples comments would really like to see timing chips introduced, even if this does put the price up.
Only gripe is the length of time you have to que to get back out of the car parks on your way home.
