In short: Love this event! could not be more beautiful
In full: Amazing event with the most beautiful scenery you could wish for. Not an easy course but still faster than London or NY (for me) great support and a fantastic finish with lots to do at the family fun day.

In short: Not one for scared cats!
In full: Fantastic event, my first marathon so a real baptism of fire! Great scenery, fantastically well organised, even the parking was great. Kids had a great day canoeing and zip wiring with the brilliant Brathay staff. Beware though, there are a couple of hills that do make your heart sink slightly but the finish makes it all worthwhile.

In short: Great run through some nice countryside( and Burnley FC) two hills to contend with, the worst about 5 miles in but will be there again next year..great bacon butties!
