In full: Great race, Credit to the club and the organisers. The race has a really local feel and is one of the best races in the area. It is much better value and enjoyable than any of the larger 'halfs': Ample parking at HQ, mile markers are 99% accurate, frequent water stations, medal, t-shirt and free banannas at the finish!
It is a challenging course due to the many climbs but there amazing views as a reward. Nice to run on tarmac but was begining to challenge the knees a bit in the last couple of miles. Good mix of ages and abilities taking part.
Only downside was that I was 9 mins slower than last year... watch out next year! Date of review: March 20, 2011

In full: My second time running this race. Got a PB last year but fully unprepared for this year and was a whole 15mins slower - Disaster! (the course did measure 1.2km longer on the same Garmin forerunner but no excuses for an extra quater of an hour).
Will be back next year and will beat 2009's PB here.
P.S. it's not a hilly course. If you want hills come and try the Dursley Dozen in Feb! Date of review: December 19, 2010
