In short: Best organisation I have seen..
In full: A beautiful race in the grounds of Blenheim Palace. Shame that spectators have to pay for the privilege to see their friends and family running but at least it was at a reduced price. Beautiful course, fantastic org (toilets, water stops, etc). Will be back next year. Yes, I don't like the medal either...

In short: Did what it said on the tin
In full: I attended the race because it was local. Overall it all went well, the route was clear, the queues to pick up the race number and chip short, mostly enthusiastic marshalls. But overall the whole organisation felt a bit cheap: all done via e-mail (at no cost) as we picked up the number and chip on the day, £1 to store your bag. One man with a bucket providing the 'water station'. A goody bag with one chocolate bar and a cheap looking medal. It did what it said on the tin, no more.

In short: Interesting but hard work
In full: Beautiful scenery but don't run this for PB. It's narrow and the surface is tough. Still - a really nice race helpded by the glorious weather.

In short: My favourite HM
In full: This is the third time I participated in this race and still is one of the best HM I have taken part in so far. Plus, they always seem to be lucky with the weather. Hope to do it again next year, it's just part of the

In short: Lovely Saturday morning race
In full: First time that I attended this race and it won't be the last time. Great scenery, friendly people, nice goody bag. Really nice event. Loved the cream cheese bagels at the end.

In short: Lovely scenery - no value for money
In full: No chip-timing, no T-Shirt (said so in the description), standard medal with no year indication, no race results (two days after the race). Poor goody bag (one muesli bar and two energy gels).
Lovely scenery, good support from the marshalls.

In short: Marshalls needed cheering up
In full: Nice Sunday morning run. Have done it the third time but this time the marshalls really didn't deliever (they used to be soo great). What happened to the lovely man who cheered us on at the end of the steep one? Otherwise nice race. Not many beginners which is a shame.

In short: Nice Sunday morning run
In full: The Strokes organisation really tries hard every time they organise a run (it was a fun run not a race!). This was probably the best of the runs I did with them. The queues at registration and toilets were ok, the marshalls were good (some real characters among them who made me smile a few times). I would do it again. I agree that some of the markers were not correctly placed and if that was 15k in distance then it was my worst run yet. Who knows...!

In short: The up's and down's of Finsbury Park
In full: Long queues for registration, long queues for the toilets. Then I missed the start of the race but this time they had timing chips - so no problem (one would think). Except that they only noted the time at the finish NOT the start time. What a shame.....!

In short: Average
In full: Race pack had to be collected which meant an early start on day when the clocks go forward. I thought that's what you pay for, to get it delivered. Otherwise ok race- no goody bag.
