In short: for event organisers they need to learn a bit In full: As most people have said the lack of water, as one of the back runners the 1st marshall was still struggling and i didnt even get a quarter of a cup, the 2nd was a full cup but the 3rd was a bit past where i would have like it, although they had loads so i made the most of it.. route to hq should have been better. they needed a start finish line, or even a megaphone so those of us at the back could tell when they started the race and not just see people run off.
howevr it was a nice flat run.
considering Nice-Work organise my clubs 10k (A&D) they did really well there so this was a dissapointment Date of review: March 14, 2010
In short: As my own club race, i think its getting better and better well done to all that ran it. In full: as it was my own clubs run i am always happy running it, ive ran it twice now last year and this and knocked 12 mins off my time from last year so well happy and now a new pb too.
i even slowed down to help a few fellow runners which im happy to say all finished well (one of whom beat me lol)
In short: very well organised race In full: after smashing 5.39 minutes off my pb (im only a slow runner and did today in around 1.08 and was very happy with it, the cake at the end was very nice, i wasnt sure where the goody bags were though? i was in the hall after and did not see them as someone said they were in there, its a nice medal aswell
In short: waste of a sunday In full: did anyone have a garmin tracking the distance?
as this was my 1st 10k i thouhgt about it hard looking for course details but got none, but it says it was flat so i thought id go for it...
well i wish i hadnt, i dont think this was very good especially for someone just starting out running to see a race organised so bad and having to give way to people!! again more toilets needed as 1 is not enough.
i would only run this again if it was organised by a different person/company Date of review: January 11, 2009
