In short: A very Well organised fun race to run.
In full: A well organised race with excellent Marshalling and plenty of support all around the course. Undulating course but hills fairly short flattening off or with a downhill to offer relief, PB potential. A really nice feel to the race and totally enjoyable to run in,in what turned out to be perfect running conditions once the rain eased off.Nice scenary in places especially the run through Christs Hospital and plenty of halloween fancy dress to raise a smile or two.Tractors available to help stranded cars in the muddy car park and traffic a little congested getting into the village so glad we left early enough before road closures. Agree Shuttle buses would be ideal. Will definitely consider running again next year.

In short: Challenging but Satisfying
In full: Despite reading the forums beforehand I am not sure I was prepared for the number of inclines in this race. Thankfully sensible pacing enabled a fast downhill/flat finish, was really pleased to come in under 2 hours. Marshalls were really friendly and encouraging and overall a well organised event with plenty of scenery, the first race without an i-pod and I didnt miss it at all. The race was full of club runners which made for a very fast race if you got carried away at the start. Not a race to attempt a PB but thouroughly satisfying when you cross the line. No medal but great T-Shirt and goody bag.

In short: Glourius Brighton!
In full: Brighton should be very proud on hosting its First Marathon. The crowds were amazing and other than being a little on the hot side for a race of this distance it beat the horrendus weather of the half back in Feb.The course was runner friendly only a few low gradient hills early on and overall the race was marshalled very well. I agree crowd control was a little bit of an issue around the 23 mile mark but other than that I had a great race and cant wait for the next one. Thanks to everyone cheering on the day.

In short: Great Route, pretty flat all the way Definitely PB potential
In full: Very well organised event, didnt have difficulty with crowding at all but important you started in the correct wave to avoid slower runners. Weather this year perfect not too hot or wet for the race brightened up nicely for a picnic in the park after.
