In short: Too many runners for the HQ pre-race and the start
In full: Moans:
Too much pre-race queueing in the race HQ corridors too narrow. Road was closed for the finish but not to allow access for runners to the start! So runners were supposed to push their way through 2000 others all crammed into a narrow strip at the side of the road. Over officious marshals (one in particular) trying to keep people in a one-person wide strip at the side of the road in finish approach so no room to overtake - but the road was closed!!

In short: Tough hills and beautiful Chiltern countryside
In full: Suggestions for improvement, more loos and announcements audible in the hall. Shame the showers were denied to us.

In short: Not enough loos
In full: Dear organisers, please note 1 TOILET PER 50 RUNNERS IS REQUIRED especially for a race that starts this early in the morning. Urinals don't count and where was the ladies?
Risk assessment needs looking at very carefully e.g. obstructions in the course unmarked and unmarshalled - bollards etc on narrow path, slippery cattle grid not covered. I saw one runner receive a nasty injury from a low level road sign. A boat and three rescue marshalls in the river but all chatting together in a group. No First Aiders at the very steep descent. Plenty of marshalls but in the wrong places.
Come on Henley Rotary, you can do better than this!
