In short: Lovely run with some great views
In full: Nice start/finish; great run back along the canal. Really good marshals and super t-shirt. Would absolutely do this again.

In short: The best, simply brilliant.
In full: An amazing race, my first marathon and I loved it. Marshals were excellent, food and drink perfect and great support all the way round.

Getting over Beachy Head a fellow runner told me it was all down hill, I dared to believe and it was true. Great finish. Thanks

In short: Hot and windy
In full: Despite the unusually high temperature this morning the race went well, water was prevalent and the marshals/support were genuinely uplifting. Slight issue with lack of toilets and water in the college but that could have been an unexpected problem. Easy for supporters to see contender at numerous points as you loop back and forth. Great cake as well.

In short: Excellent, excellent, excellent
In full: For a first running of this race it was organised incredibly well and the course itself was brilliant. I'm sure this will go from strength to strength and it would be great to see the initial proposed 2000 competitors participate.

In short: A fine day out
In full: This race was just that, a fine day out. I enjoyed the run, the support was excellent on Eccy Road (both last year and this year I arrived when Atomic by Blondie was blasting out) and the DVS is a great place to cross the finishing line. However, it is not a great place to start the race if the toilets on the trackside are locked and as a complex it really is quite complex! I walked from one end to the other trying to find the changing rooms to be told go out on the track and come in between blocks 1 and 2 then go down a corridor etc etc. Signs for competitors would not go amiss and I really would have liked an energy drink at the end like last year. Plus, it can't be more expensive to have a technical t-shirt which is far more useful.

In short: Great finish line
In full: I would hesitate to follow common opinion on medals; they end up in that drawer in the kitchen (you know the one I mean) Rather, a breathable t-shirt for running would be preferred (Mudman race is a perfect example). The race itself was well organised and the marshalls and water stations were fine. Only small gripe is that the bags should have been prepared and drinks more easily available at the finish. Still, definitely doing it next year.
