In short: Brilliant organisation, undulating course with a testing headwind
In full: My first marathon and I'm not sure if it was a wise choice to add the additional pressure of a 4.30 cut-off time. Marshalling was brilliant, as was the rest of the organisation. The real bonus was finding that there was hot water left when I got to the showers.

In short: Well organised, a great event, possibly the hardest 10k around but it's great not to be a slave to the watch.

In short: New route made it better than previous years, still some congestion but that was caused by people wanting to avoid getting wet.
In full: A great race, well organised and with a good mix of terrain, don't be afraid to get wet early on cos you will be wet by the end of it anyway. Good fun, big thanks to the organisers.

In short: My favourite event of the year.
In full: Leave your watch at home, leave your best kit at home, prepare to get muddier than a naturally muddy thing having an extra muddy day in mudsville. Great fun, the best reason for being a runner.

In short: Good course, good race, ruined by poor traffic management for those trying to get to the start.

In short: More hills than expected but great views to take the mind off the pain.
In full: Well organised and very scenic, a few hills to worry about but flattens out towards the end. Plenty of drinks and marshalls. An enjoyable experience, I'll be back.

In short: A great race, well organised and a scenic course.
In full: Certainly grown since I did it in 2003. Undulations are gentle and the second 5k is quicker than the first. Big thanks to the organisers for a real value for money run.
