In short: A very fast marathon!
In full: A great race with some good support in places. Not the most interesting of routes at times, but if you're looking for a fast course this is one of the quickest. Special thanks to the marshals who did an amazing job keeping the runners safe and offering support. Nice t-shirt, and a very shiny medal! Many thanks.

In short: Great race, encouraging friendly marshals, lovely secenic route & you get an excellent long sleeved technical running top!
In full: 2 minor issues - prize giving at 1.00pm meant most of us had gone home a long time before or had to wait around a long time! You ran out of hot dogs & bacon rolls! Very minor stuff though, another great race. Thank you.

In short: The 'benchmark' event!
In full: A superb event again. A wonderful route which is challenging enough for serious runners to test themselves but not too tough for those just wanting to get round. Brilliant, friendly & encouraging marshalls (even directing you to the toilets at HQ!). Well stocked water stations just when you need them + Lucozade Sport, sponges, showers and Jelly Babies! Free cake at the end, brass band & superb goodie bag. First class organisation right from from the pre-race info, to having the full results in your inbox by the time you get home. My event of the year and will definitely be back next year.

In short: A great event on my doorstep!
In full: Another great event from The Harriers. I love the route, no real tough climbs but bumpy enough to challenge. Excellent supportive marshalls. Empty goody bag was the only slight negative for me, and would much prefer water bottles to those 'impossible to drink from' plastic cups! Still a top race and will be back for more next year.

In short: Great event, but not enough water on course for 30+ degree temps
In full: This is a great event, on a great course and organisation was mostlyvery good, but.......In 30 degree heat, there needs to be a better supply of water. Luckily I carried my water bottle as far as the first water station, where I stopped to re-fill from the daft plastic cups provided. Please provide water in bottles next year for the many that didn't carry their own bottle or who didn't want to waste time filling up - I even had to share my bottle with a runner that looked close to collapse who was still a mile from the next water stop! Other than that, brilliant!
