In short: Had forgotten about those hills! In full: A nice course though - better than most seafront runs which just take you there and back. Tougher than I remembered but probably less fit. Great to see more water supplies though and jelly babies! And excellent goody bag at the finish. Date of review: September 6, 2010

In short: Somewhat disappointing In full: I can't believe that this race had a UKA licence. If it did it broke all the rules. Where was the licence displayed and the list of runners taking part. The marshals were lacking, water and first aid were inadequate. No signage. I know organising a race can be difficult but you need to get the basics right and that's why the UKA provide guidelines. In short: A good race, course allowed for even pace running In full: A good well marshalled race. The finish area definitely needs sorting though. The time on the clock as I crossed the line was 56 minutes. The person behind me in the funnel had run 57 mins 30 and the next person just over the hour. They didn't appreciate the significance of staying in line. A shorter funnel would maybe clear the area quicker. But hey it was a good fun race, great for a Bank Holiday Monday and I appreciate the organisers giving up their day so I could run. Thanks to all. Date of review: May 5, 2009
