In short: Excellent race, my favourite half, will be back again next year!
In full: Yet again an absolutely fantastic day, loved every minute!!! Yes its expensive, but you get a good quality medal, goody bag and the race village is great. Yes its busy, but what do you expect from a big city half? I got my PB here last year and was seconds off it this year, so it can't be that congested! I'm a club runner but I love the support and I love the big city race feel of this race. With nearly 10,000 runners I'm afraid its going to be busy and there's always going to be a few queues for bags/toilets!!! Thanks Bath for another fab race :o)

In short: Beautiful but challenging!
In full: Fantastically organised, beautiful course and a great location. Will definitely be back next year to improve on my time, will do more hill training though!!

In short: Excellent race, superbly organised and brilliantly supported, can't wait for next year!
In full: Despite having a terrible run myself today I thought this was a fantastic race, one of the best half's I've done. Nice mix of town and countryside, fantastic support from the locals and some tough hills to challenge you. 10 out of 10 Frome!!!!!

In short: Fantastic race, brilliantly organised and beautiful scenery! :o)
In full: Have done the relay the past two years but this year I thought I'd have a go at the whole thing. Thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish, even the hills! Really well organised, my only teeny criticism is the medal, its exactly the same as last years!

In short: Lovely race, FABULOUS crowd support and a beautiful medal!
In full: Had such a good day here yesterday, brilliantly organised, and fantastic support along most of the route (and I got a pb!). Ok the power station part was a bit dull, and there were a lot of out and back parts but I quite liked that as I got to see some of my fellow club runners along the way. I'm not sure where the hills were that people mentioned, I'd call them slight inclines!! I also liked the water pouches as they were light and didn't cause a trip hazard when thrown on the floor.

My only moan would be about the finish, as there was a bit before the finish that LOOKED like it was the finish, I think it caught a few people out!! Also the chip timer being on the number wasn't great as I know some peoples didnt work.

Overall though a fantastic race which I'd definately do again!!! :o)

In short: Lovely friendly race in a cool location
In full: Really enjoyed this run (if you can 'enjoy' running 20 miles!). Easy to get to/park/pick up your number. Lots of loos, plenty of water/gel stops and a really nice atomosphere. Lovely touch to have the race director at the finish shaking hands!!! Also nice that there was different medals for the 10 and 20 mile runs, have been to many races where there are different distance runs and everyone gets the same medal. Fab day out :o)

In short: Very pleasantly surprised...have already entered next years!!!
In full: I'd heard horror stories about this race on previous RW postings, and it was nothing like people had described!!! Lovely race with a brilliant atomosphere, well organised for a big city event. Hardly queued at all for the loo/bags etc (although lots of people seemed to be queuing for bags when there was no need to!!). I know its expensive but you get a lovely medal and goody bag. Well done Bath - See you next year!

In short: Great early start to the Spring marathon training!
In full: This is the second year I've ran this and, although like some of the others I preferred last years more off-road route, I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly marshalls and nice scenery, even a few tanks!! I spend Christmas in Somerset with family and this is now becoming part of my Christmas tradition! Will be back next year :o)
