In short: Challenging but fun
In full: The organisers were very friendly and keen to help, well marshaled. The course itself runs though some lovely woodland with bluebells out in full force. The 1st 5k is a long climb but what goes up must come down so 4 1/2k's back towards the finish is fairly easy, then a steep climb towards the end and a loop of the cricket pitch to end. My 1st time but it won't be the last :)

In short: 60th Aniversary Race, well organised as ever.
In full: A great race, a shame that 10 mile races are so few and far between as it's a good race distance. Enjoyed this race as always

In short: 1st time but not the last
In full: Great friendly little race organised on a shoestring but runs like clockwork. Lovely 2 lap course that goes through the amimal park. Enjoyed this one and will be back

In short: Terrible finish
In full: A great city marathon spoilt by a really disappointing finish, what were the 'organisers' thinking with such a bad finish area? Too many bad points to mention here and most of the others posts have covered my concerns
I will only come back if they drastically change the finish. The supporters and marshals who braved the wind and rain were brilliant.

In short: Scenic and Friendly
In full: One of the most sociable races I've done, it seem the longer the run the more friendly it becomes. I would love to do it again.

In short: Great Race
In full: I was a bit worried about the 5k down then 5k up but the hills weren't that bad. Loved the atmosphere and the scenery was great for taking your mind off the worst of the hills. The event was well organised.

In short: Great Marshals and support, lousy baggage organisation
In full: Arrived quite early but the queue for baggage was immense, by the time I dropped off my bag I had no time to warm up after the freezing wait. I spotted the race director just before the 10am start and informed him that there were still a massive queue for baggage but he said the race starts at 10 no matter what. Marshaling was great in the bad conditions, was very disappointed with lack of goody bag, after running a pb I needed something sugary but just got a cup of water, getting my bag back was hazzardous in the mudbath next to the kit tent.

In short: Well Organised
In full: Thank You to the marshals for a job well done on a cold and miserable day. Race was well organised. My only criticism would be the state of the toilets.

In short: Mud & Hills
In full: Great race made all the better by cheerful marshals, great organisation and hot showers to wash the mud off after were very welcome. Refreshments were a nice touch before presentations and a good memento for finishing (red mug). Thank You Watford Joggers :-)

In short: Ache in places I've never ached, tough
In full: Wind and rain set the theme for this race, a big Thank You to all those Marshall's for standing in it for so long and yet still remained cheerful. This race was well organised and despite the P.O. Strike, made sure it went ahead as planned. The toughest Half I've ever done but would do again, Thank You Marlow Striders
