In short: a money making exercise tempered by such a lovely scenic run
In full: a mile walk to the start... a late start and no communication. The route is lovely, worth a return for that alone. Organisers need to look at the start and the value for money as expensive entry fee. The Army cadets were super as were the supporters cheering on the route.

In short: tougher than expected; sandy and rocky underfoot which made it more challenging

In short: .
In full: We ran the Manuden 10k Fun Run which is in the next village last year which is a terrific event. To have two great runs so close to each other is pretty cool. I throughly enjoyed Clavering's event and can only encourage everyone to give this, and the Manuden 10k at chance - but enter early as they fill up so quickly and no hard to understand why.

In short: Run along seafront / views of France when clear
In full: It was a delightful race - pretty flat with the exception of a very, very evil hill which connects the lower promenade to the higher. The race ends with us having to go up this hill - most walked it. The day was very warm. Enjoyable run (beginner / 4 under my belt)
