In short: A good test
In full: This is a very enjoyable one lap 10k that can be testing at times, especially the hill in the last 1k. But it is a very pleasant run the North Bucks that can generally be described as mildly undulating. Plenty of friendly marshalls and excellent cakes galore at the finish. I would agree with the small gripes raised so far. The start needs organising better. My garmin was 6 seconds out from the official time, that was how long it took to realise the race had started...and the finsh line needs marking. But these are small issues for what is a very good run and well worth doing.

In short: One of the Best
In full: This must be one of the best organised and marshalled races in he country. I cannot believe that it only attracts just over 200 runners - it deserves more. From the car parking (which could be nearer please) to the race itself there are friendly marshalls everywhere.
The route is good but challenging especially the last 2k which is uphill. It passes through some great countryside, a delightful village and has a lap of an airfield. The goody bag/drinks/gel/bar/banana put many bigger events to shame.
I will be back next year and will improve on this years time! Well done to all involved in organising this event.

In short: Well organised and great atmosphere
In full: Despite the rain the crowds were still there. This race is well organised and a few teaks could make it even better. But one to add to your calendar

In short: One of the Best
In full: I love this race - a big crowd, all friendly, lots of noise, great PB potential, great goodie bag and runs like clockwork. As others have said the finish was better organised this year and I managed to get through and pick up my bag from storage within about 2 minutes of finishing - better than last years 25 minutes!!

The runners village works well and the support in the town is fantastic - probably up there with the best supported races.

From registering you get supportive emails, the pack tells you everything you need to know. All in all - great. If only all races were like this.

I will be back next year. Well done organisors and the people of Bath

In short: Just Enjoy the day
In full: My 1st GNR and I did not expect a PB - good job it was so crowded you spend alot of time dodging other runners/walkers. The people of Newcastle/Gateshead/South Shields are great offering ice pops drinks and sweets. Happy to have done it, hopefully will start further forward next year and get around faster. Well worth doing for the experience

In short: A great experience
In full: This was a great day out. A well marshalled race, fantastic scenery, Rhinos running after you and a goody bag with all the essentials (especially the animal visor!). Would like a chip time but you can't have everything. To then be able to spend a day at one of the top zoos was a bonus. My wife's only complaint was that the fun run was called the kids run at the gate - she has just started running and a 2k is a great lead in to 5k and above. She thought the run past the giraffes was fab. We'll be back.

In short: Great views, up and down.
In full: This is a good event with a small field. The route is hilly or undulating depending on your view (the uphill between 8k - 9k can be tough). The views around Stowe Gardens, a National Trust site, are terrific and make it worth doing. Thought I had been super quick then realised my watch showed the distance as 9.38k

In short: Flat, well organised, friendly
In full: This is a great race whether a beginner or 'pro' looking for a PB. I am neither but still enjoyed the challenge. The start could do with arranging in estimated finish time order to stop the struggle on the opening straight and it would have helped if there had not been 2 x 4k markers (I may have started my homeward struggle, oops I mean sprint later!). Really friendly bunch cheering and encouraging to the end. Thanks.

In short: My First 10k -started at the back and enjoyed overtaking a few, hope to start nearer the front next time!!
In full: The course is easy and whilst it was a bit windy that did make it a bad event. Just to say I have run around Silverstone and pointing out 'where I ran' will be great when the GP is on.
