In short: Great Scenery and all welcome
In full: Organisation was good, easy free parking, lots of music etc prior to the race. However there were huge queues at the toilets and the start was chaotic. It was not chip timed so everyone was trying to be as close to the start as possible and it was a case of run for your life to find some space, however when the person in front of you is running with a dog on a lead that's not too easy! It was hillier than I expected but the scenery was lovely. It was humid so the extra water station was welcome. Marshalls were great too. It was also faster than I thought, probably why I got my PB in this run, trying to keep up! I would possibly do it again but would be more tempted if it were chip-timed.

In short: A really enjoyable run
In full: I did this for the first time this year. The organisation was good. The chip timing was great as for me this was a PB run. The scenery was lovely, traffic-free, and the spectators were really encouraging. Water stations were welcome as it was a hot day and the T-shirt was nice... love the green! There were lots of club runners but this is certainly a race for all levels. This is definitely on my calendar for next year!

In short: A great challenge for all levels
In full: This was my first time doing this run. I was really nervous as I'd read about the hills and had only done a couple of runs before, which were mainly flat. I thought the course was good. The mixed terrain made it interesting and the scenery was good. The hills are without a doubt challenging but there is plenty of downhill and flat. For me this isn't a PB run but it is a great challenge and a good chance to try new heights!! Don't be put off by the number of club runners... there were many different levels in this race. The organisation was good, marshals really encouraging, and the goody bag well worth it. This year's T-shirt is fab. My only negative was the spectators with dogs who let them run into the runners, a bit of a distraction. I will definitely do this run again next year ; )
