In short: Respect This Race In full: Yes you have to Respect this race, the description of this race as being Hilly is an understatement. There are 2 monster climbs in this race, one at 1 mile and the other at 9 miles, these are nothing that you can imagine or describe until you have done this race....I thourghly enjoyed it. Fantastic organisation and encouragement by the marshals and spectators and the scenary is to die for, beautiful. But a big warning....if you dont like hills this is one race you want to avaoid. Unfortunatley I luv 'em so I'll be back next year :) Date of review: May 18, 2009

In short: A good race, no "real" hills although some sharp turns that slow you right down In full: I ran the Derbyshire 10K at the weekend and enjoyed it alot. A few nice straights where you can get your speed and pacing right up, although there are some nasty hair pin bends where you have to slow right down. No hills really, just a mild but wide hump back bridge. Mostly run through the centre of the city but you do finish the last 3K running by the river then into the Derby City Footbal Stadium.
