In short: Very enjoyable race
In full: Very good race helped by good running conditions. Was flat most of the way with a couple of small hills in second half of race to make it challenging. Only gripe was the start was very congested and maybe should have been delayed to allow everyone into position. Apart from that very good.

In short: Heat an issue
In full: Very relaxed race with some excellent scenery, and having two stations was better then just one at the half way point. The heat was a real problem after half way with more people then usual walking. May be an idea (and for all other summer races) to start an hour earlier. May inconvenience people but I travelled 1 hr 30 mins to this race and would have sacrificed sleep for an earlier start. something to consider but overall enjoyable. Well done all.

In short: nice fun race again
In full: Good race and enjoyable again (2nd time, missed last year) Only real issue is the late start meaning the heat became an issue later on in race. Maybe start earlier or one more drinks stop wouln't go amis around the 7-8k mark. Apart from that fun again.

In short: Tough but enjoyable
In full: My first trail run I have taken part in and was it hard. Didn't help that I misread it was 10 miles rather then 10k. Despite my aching muscles the scenery was lovely and marshalling very supportive. Well done to everyone, i'll be back.

In short: Best race of year so far
In full: If the monsoon overnight hadn't happened then this would have been even better. However the first and last k were hard work trudging through the mud but in a way it was quite fun. Obviously this isn't any fault of organisors and gave the race an extra edge.

As a race this was excellent. Good parking, great organisation, nice surroundings at start and finish, friendly finish with names being read out. I know its a much smaller race but events like run to the beat should learn from these people.

WELL DONE

In short: Very good for PB potential but multiple laps are never that exciting.

In short: Good race but was over 1k too short. Therefore my time of 41 minutes (smashing ten k record by 5 minutes) is null and void. Saying that it seemed a god race for beginners.
