In short: Stunning scenery, great organisation, great people In full: A trip around Englands largest lake was always going to be wonderful and this race did not disappoint. I set off with the crowd at too fast a pace for the training only to be cut down to size by the hill at mile 21. Organisation great, people welcomming and a great charity to run for. Those guys running the 10 races in 10 days were truly inspirational. Date of review: May 22, 2012

In short: Superb scenery, great organisation, will be back next year In full: I had a lovely trot down the Wye then up through the trees. Ok the second lap knocked the wind out of me but it was worth it for the view. Definitely be back next year because it was such a delight. Thanks to all the marshals and organisers lots of great support. I have Marked the course well on PB potential because it was my best time for 1200 ft of climb. In short: Great fun run around the countryside! In full: A fun atmosphere was set from the start when the starting pistol was replaced by a cannon. Whoost bang and we were off running, I must admit a little faster than I should have a couple of hills around 10m put pay to my quick start. A welcome finish at the cricket club helped me get home. A certificate, a medal and a bottle of sports drink what more can you ask for the low price. Roll on next year! Date of review: May 31, 2010
