In short: Very rough race but great value/well organised
In full: A very well organised race and great value considering transport was provided to the start of the race. A very tough race, not just the initial 6 miles but also the variety of terrain and the undulating bits towards the finish!

I didn't enjoy the race at the time because it was so tough. But now the pain has subsided and upon reflection it was a real challenge to finish and I want to do this again and do even better next year!

Overall fantastic value considering we had a technical t-shirt in the goody bag, all the chocolate i could stuff in my face plus free tea and sandwiches at the finish! The showers could have been a little warmer though ;-)

Well done to all who took part and a big thank you to the organisers.

In full: Before starting the race i was a little wary about how i was going to get to the top of the big dipper let alone run the rest of the course, but once i conquered the beast of a dune i thouroughly enjoyed this race. I wasn't too concerned about getting a fast time which made it even more enjoyable.

All different types of terrain covered within the race, very well organised, good support from the marshalls and crowd throughout. I was only disappointed that i didn't thake the opportunity have some mulled wine and mince pies on the way round, will have to remember to have some next time.

In short: Good course, hope it continues
In full: Overall a good course, however it will always have the potential to be blustery down the barrage area which is the last leg of the race, i struggled in the last mile and a half because of the strong headwind. But overall I enjoyed the race and the oranges at the finishing line was a nice touch!

PROS: good flat course definate PB potential
Well organised on the day

CONS:Poor website, needs more information e.g. race results, link to photos, may always be windy on last leg due to location of the last mile and a half.

In short: Much improved on last year
In full: PROS: The last couple of miles was a vast improvement on last year, the barrage section was a welcome return compared to last year, atmosphere was great and organisation/marshalling better than last year.

CONS: very poor goodie bag, what was with the cranberry sauce!!???? not good value for money! too much bunching in places, in particular the congestion at st david's hotel car park! water stops could have been better signposted, powerade stop too soon in the race. The finish area still not an improvement on last year, no clear signposting to dispose of your chip and far too overcrowded to get to the runners village at the end, not ideal after running 13 miles!
