In short: Well organised and friendly In full: A good course with a bit of everything, well... ups, downs and some flat bits. Not the most scenic but what is anyone expecting from Bolton suburbia! Faultless organisation and chip timing very welcome. Definately recommended, my thanks to the organisers. Date of review: April 25, 2010

In short: If a race could be described as 'homely', this would be it... In full: My first event that wasnt a big mass participation thing. My impression of these smaller races had been of lots of slim and lithe young ladies and gents zooming off into the distance.....as little ol' me plodded along.
Glad I was wrong then as there was a nice mix of club runners, plodders and first timers that gave the event a friendly and accessible feel.
Congrats to the organisers, a sound little 10k and a big thumbs up here. As a reviewer said earlier, perhaps a tad later in the year wasnt such a bad thing? Date of review: April 21, 2010

In short: Quality event In full: A first half marathon for me and I think I made a good choice. Slight delay at the start but I dont think this was an organisational fault, just one of those things. A good route for me - a steady uphill for the first half and steady down on the second, although still a few small hills to keep you on your toes! Plenty of water stations offering Lucozade as well which was nice. A nice finish on the track and a high quality medal and goody bag. Whilst some question the value of the entry fee, in my opinion once everything is taken into account it repesents good value. Well done to the organisers and Warrington.
