In short: Friendly well-organised run with impressive local support In full: I had heard that this was a pretty flat and fast course, so I was surprised that it was actually quite undulating, but overall a pleasant race and a good experience. Very well organised, except for the beginning which was very congested. I also think it might be a good idea to indicate which side the water will be distributed, for the water stations that were not on both sides. I was quite impressed that so many spectators turned up for a relatively small, local race - that was really nice. The 10:30am start was also very much appreciated, coming from London, although I can't say I'd make the trip out to Fleet again just for this race. Date of review: March 20, 2011

In short: A wonderful 10k series to use as training races in particular In full: I've done four 10K's so far with Mornington Chasers - everyone's very friendly, especially the race organizer Maurice who has always been very understanding if I've had to reschedule to another month due to illness or another conflict. Low-pressure atmosphere but serious enough to have a strong, focused run and hopefully hit a PB! They're great races to use as training runs leading up to a larger event, or simply to track your progress. I'll be doing the one in early March.

In short: Great pre-marathon training run in a race atmosphere In full: There were a few more hills than I expected, and it was two laps all on road, but overall I really enjoyed this race. I learned so much being in a race environment than I would've done running 20M on my own. And the medal was brilliant! Date of review: March 24, 2010
