In short: Well run and flat as a pancake
In full: I traveled a fair distance to do this race based on previous reports and I wasn't disappointed. Easy collection of race number and plenty of tannoys to keep you updated as to time to move to starting area. Switched on marshalls and quiet country lanes which are flat. To those who wanted a drink and a banana.... It's not really why you turn up and race is it?

In short: Pretty flat.
In full: Well organised. Very well marshaled. Distance markers were sorted following earlier comments. In fact the only thing that was rubbish was me!

In short: Undulating
In full: Being somewhat obsessive I 'ran' the route via Google Streetview beforehand and thought "This looks fairly flat" and thus went out at the start accordingly. Be warned those 'mild undulations' will ruin you on the second lap if you leave nothing in the tank and the final 100 metres need a set of cramp-ons!

In short: It certainly was a 'Great' Wishford
In full: Excellent organisation from the moment you arrive. Organiser on a tannoy giving clear instruction and direction. Well marked and staffed race registration. Crazy warm up which I respectfully declined! Considerig you could get lost in Grovely Woods and not be found for years the course was very well marshalled. Amazed this isn't more popular really.

In short: Superb Marshalling, flat course. Good value for money
In full: Well organised race. All met up in the Town Hall where it was warm and dry. The move to the start line well communicated and clear audible start. Marshalls at every k marker. Never met such keen and friendly people. My Garmin measured only 6.11 miles?

In short: A very good event.
In full: Well marshaled and a fantastic course. My GPS measured 6.32 miles so the extra distance cost me around 40 seconds which is a little frustrating.

In short: PB? Not a chance.
In full: A very challenging race with a few killer hills and difficult terrain for most of the 10k. A total of 6.52 miles which meant I blew out when I put in my kick at 6 miles up the last hill. No Km markers which could be addressed. Great atmosphere, a cheery PA and a mad woman doing an amusing warm-up.

In short: Road race with some hillwork
In full: This friendly low key race attracted both club runners and beginners. Set amongst village roads with little/no traffic it offered well placed km and route markers. Leave a little in the tank for the last 500metres.
