In short: Tough but enjoyable
In full: As a beginner I found this a hard race but all the marshalls were helpful and friendly but there was little support out on the course (narrow riverbank path) so it seemed a long lonely run. Still enjoyed it though and would do it again, could imagine it would be even tougher if the path had been wet and muddy.

In short: Brlliant well organised and fun
In full: A well organised race, hard to believe it was the first one, can't praise them enough and also the residents of Caistor who were out in force cheering us all on, just what I needed especially up the hills, and then an extremely generous goody bag and t shirt at the finish.

In short: Free pint at the finish
In full: Really enjoyable race and a free pint at the end which we sat and drank outside in glorious sunshine. Had a great day.
