In short: Had great potential but not worth the money.
In full: The other reviews have summarised the organisation shambles, although I suppose you can't help it if your car gets stuck? But some communication as to what was going on would have been nice! Good job it was sunny and not chucking it down though.

The way markers could have been clearer, but after the first wrong turn it was ok, you just had to keep an eye out. Some people went the wrong way towards the end, but many other people didn't have a problem following the arrows! :)

But for about £30 it wasn't really worth the money considering the poor organisation, tiny tiny "event village", a below par and very bog-standard medal, and just a banana in your goody bag! No t-shirt as it said on RW.

Plus considering other muddy runs I've done, this one was the least muddy, with a big long bit in the middle with no mud at all. I overheard some other runners in Swinley Forest saying that they could run the route and not be charged, just avoid the obstacles, and considering there weren't many this wouldn't be hard. I think the route needs more offroad sections through the forest and not just along the dirt tracks.

Big thank you to all the young marshalls you were very polite and good at telling you which way to go and warning you of holes, posts etc. I was sure they had to deal with a lot of very fed up runners, so I made sure to thank them as I ran past.

On a whole I will have to hear of some vast improvements to even consider doing this race again. There are currently too many better ones out there. The only plus side was the small field, so after the first two obstacles you didn't have to queue!

In short: Broke my PB so very happy!
In full: Good small sized 10K race. I had a 5min queue for the toilets at about 8:30am but later the queue was huge - so don't leave it to the last minute or get there late! Course was flat and well marshalled, got a new PB so very happy. Rest of organisation was very good. Lovely run along the Thames path for most of it, although I felt sorry for the non-race runners or cyclist that we met! Nice number of runners in the race, wasn't too crowded and you didn't have to dodge all the time. Thinned out nicely on the Thames Path.

There were people at the end to take your chip timings off your shoes for you, very much appreciated as I hate bending over and taking those things over straight away when you're over the finish line and shattered from the run!

Race results we posted up quickly after the race which was great to check my watch time against the chip time.

All in all very good and would definitely recommend.

In short: Great first time trail run, some hills but not too many to put you off and some nice down hil bits too!

In short: Great quick race, lots of people and dodging, not enough toilets!
In full: Great flat race on the Portsmouth Coast. Very busy though, and I missed my wave due to queuing for the toilet (!) so I had to dogde through lots of people. It had all thinned out by 10K though. Would do it again.
