In short: Great Scenery
In full: Wasn't sure what to expect on this one. My slowest ever 10K race but it was hot. Getting water twice was a godsend. loved slop gully but hated dinosaur beach! great horse brass at the end. would do it again.

In short: Well Done Tim and his team
In full: My 5th Muller run (only missed second one as I was on holiday)and it does get better every year. Start still a problem as it took us well over a minute to cross the start.
Good support from the locals and the Muller workers on route. Great value for money. The T shirt alone must cover the cost of your entry fee. Results were on line quickly for the first 800 runners but it wasn't a problem to wait later in the day to get my time.
As I said, great valve and to get 45 Stafford Harriers to run in a race when there was a North Staffs race on on the same day is testiment to how much we love this race.

In short: Great Race
In full: Will admit to only doing this one as it is part of the Stafford Harriers Club challenge this year but I really enjoyed it. It was well supported and well marshalled. The glass is a nice touch and makes a change from a T shirt! look forward to drinking a nice wine from it. I will do it again, club challenge or not.

In short: Well worth the trip
In full: Having done this race 5 times now, I know that the start is a bit disorganised but being a slow runner I know my place is near the back. Just a pity some slower runners don't! Nice to mmeet up with friends after the new year and no doubt I will be back next year.

In short: Good end to the year
In full: Bitterly cold start but you can't blame the organisers for that. bit of confusion over the start time but huddling together at the start made it cosy. best time I have done for two years over this distance and has given me a kick start for next year. Loved the llamas mid route.

In short: Well organised event
In full: My first proper cross country run and what a day to start!!! The mud was a challenge and it was difficult to run in some places. The freshly planted field was a challenge in itself but the layers of mud soon came off! Didn't enjoy it at the time but looking back it was a good race only made to feel bad by the rain and the mud. Will be back next year to see if the weather has improved by then.

In short: Well marshalled race
In full: Enjoyed this except for the woman in the car who shouted at me to run on the footpath! She must have been blind not to notice there were barriers and plastic covers on the path! Maybe she would like to run it next year. Apart from that a good race and a nice momento at the end.

In short: Well organised event
In full: 5th time I have run this race so must have some good qualities!!! Well marshalled and supported on route, even the rural parts. It isn't flat and the one hill was a killer but overall a good challenging run. See you next year.
