In short: Fast and flat, shame about the start and the weather!
In full: The start was very chaotic, with the faster runners having to 'lap' the back runners on the small initial lap - this is something I am sure that could have been avoided with a slight route change elsewhere in the course!

I woud do this again but would check that this route issue was sorted and also I would expect for the entry fee to get more than a medal which I had to collect from the table myself, a banana and a cup of water. Maybe the race needs better sponsors!

In short: What a farce....call this a race?
In full: I left homw with plenty of time to drive to the O2 as I had bought my car park pass beforehand. My first impression was of hundreds of cars queuing to get into the car park, most without tickets, some dropping runners off and blocking up the road. After parking with 10mins to spare I found the race had been delayed by 45mins.

No changing facilities, toilet quques were huge, the drains became blocked inside the O2 from everyone using pub and restaurant loos and the stentch from this was disgusting.

No order to the start - I had received a red number (sub 1.40 I wish!!!) and so went in with a friend in turquoise. however we were a mix of colours and I felt sorry for the poor buggers waiting in the cattle pens!!! Waiting for us to start.

course was longer than expected, and 2 big long hills we were not warned about.

At the finish there was no countdown to the line so the last mile just dragged. The goody bag was pants although it was good to put above my head to keep the rain off!

A t-shirt would have been nice, and where is the certificate we could download for free?

Photos and results are up but these took their time.

do it again? No way.

In full: Bit too hot for me and I was ill so no PB for me!! However, great idea but maybe a 1 lap course next time as us slowies were demoralised by being lapped twice by speedy gozalez!!

In short: where's the medals?
In full: Fats course but even at my fastest slow pace I was still at the back. Not suited to 10min milers!

Got to end and did have a big cheer! Went back to school to be given a t-shirt but no medal. I queried it but was told that there were none this year. They had been advertised on this very site. No goody bag either.

All I can say is the school made a huge profit on this.....

In short: Good mass participation race
In full: Had a fantastic evening. Organisation was a bit dubious at the start but the route was good with a couple of challanging areas. Loved the top but hate the size! Great feeling running with 29999 others!
