In short: Best Half marathon I have ever done
In full: Brilliantly organised run. Had water stations on every mile check point. Shares parts with the yearly St Albans 10k run. Some of the course goes back on itself but the scenary is great. Had loads of nice touches such as chip timing, massage after with charity donations, and free orange ice cream sticks. I would definatly recommend this race to beginners and veterens alike.

In short: A good low key affair
In full: This race it a small one compared to the other 10ks in the area. Mostly club runners participating. No one really knew where the start was till 5 minutes before the race and no staggered markers for different running abilities. Marshals very cheerful. I would do again next year but won't make a special effort.

In short: My first 10k race and would do it again
In full: Starts off in picturesque Cassiobury Park and does a lap which goes through Whippendale Woods with one large hill but short hill at about the 3k mark. Ends back in Cassiobury Park. Nice touch with the electronic timing on the race numbers given out. One water station at the 6k mark. Free medal and T-shirt given to runners at the end. One gripe I had was that there wasn't enough toliet facilities provided other than that a well organised race.
