In short: good first race some room for improvement
In full: For the first running of a new race this was very good. Not the cheapest 10k but nice t-shirt and great medal. Course appeared to be longer than 10k by 0.25 miles, goody bag not up to much but not important. Route was great and would definitely do this again.

In short: Ice on significant portion of the course made it treacorous and slow. Distance not accurate appears to have been 5.3 miles.

In short: Well organised race. Good route suitable for beginners. Only down side was the backing up of runners at the finish line.
