In short: Even better 2nd time round!
In full: Did this last year and enjoyed it as pre-marathon training, came back this year knocked a minute and half-ish off my time, even in hotter conditions! Very friendly marshalls and staff! And I did the whole thing without any music as I dropped and lost my headphones before I even started the race, which filled me with dread initially, but do you know what, it was such a nice atmosphere and plenty of scenery I actually was fine without them!
Think I maybe back next year even if I'm not training for a marathon!

In short: Did not enjoy the Laps one bit!!
In full: An alright race for a good charity. Laps especially along and back down the seafront drove me a bit nuts! Fortunately the weather was good, if it had been raining I would have packed up and gone home after lap 1!
No banana's when I finished at an average time of 2hrs 7mins! so all i got was a medal and a cup of water!!
Won't be back next year!

In short: Don't usually do hilly or multi-terrain but suprisingly enjoyable!
In full: Brilliantly organised and despite the hills and rough terrain (including lots of tree roots at about mile 7-8 ish!) I actually enjoyed it, scenary makes it worthwhile. Fabulous Marshalls, and I didn't have to queue for a toilet once!! My legs hurt like hell still, but it was worth it!

In short: Marshalls and water stations were great! Start and finish were a let down.
In full: First time I'd entered and first time I'd ever done that distance, thought I would have got more for my money....just a cheapy medal at the end for all my hard effort (it's not every day you run 20miles!) was a little dis-heartening! Enter shorter and cheaper races and got a lot more! Great for a training run for marathon though, and it was flat, Marshalls and drinks station people were lovely. If it had rained it would have been horrendous. didn't even get to use the porta loo's the queue was too large, went to near by public ones, which were fine. Worthing Leisure centre knew very little about the race when I arrived there at 8:15, they let me use their loo, I'm glad I didn't park there though, it was miles away from the race. All in all poorly organised for the entry fee and still no chip time's on the website.....should be there within 24hrs surely?!!
