In short: great race in a great venue. In full: second time I've ran this event and I'll be back again next year too. Pulled my calf and Achilles a tad on the second big hill but still really enjoyed it. excellent half to do in the build up to a spring marathon in my opinion. Date of review: March 29, 2011

In short: My most enjoyable race this year. In full: Excellent race, 1st time I've ran here, I did the half marathon and really enjoyed it. I'm planning on coming back next year and having a bash at the full marathon. the only down side was if you wanted a T-shirt you had to pay more money on top of what was already a fairly expensive half mara, but lets be honest other than that petty gripe it was an excellently organised event. In short: Great 10K. plus best race day toilets I've ever seen. Well done M'bro couoncil!! In full: Very well organised, great 3k fun run before hand which my son ran, and next year I'll be running the 3k with my youngest son too as well as the 10K. Excellent for all of the family. Even an elite men's 1 mile race before the main event too. (unfortunately I missed the Red Devils parachute in before hand, but have been reliably informed that they too were amazing!)... Oh yes and the toilets were of an exceptional standard. Date of review: September 5, 2010

In short: My first 10K race and now can't wait for the next one In full: A minor blip with the organisation at the start, but other than that a well run event. The route was nice enough. If the council ever decide to make the leap to a half-marathon then the potential would be there to show people from outside the area some of the lovely country side right on our doorstep. It was good to see so many people I knew, and also so many people who up until recently wouldn't have dreamed of doing something like a 10 minute run let alone a 10K one, and after all, that's the whole point of these event's in middlesbrough, to get people active Date of review: September 9, 2009
