In short: Fabulous marshalling, a well organised race. I hope that it is back again next year!
In full: Easily my favourite half. There were loads of marshall on the course, all doing an excellent job. Thanks too for all the locals who came out to support & put up with road closures/waited even though the roads weren't closed. My first race with a Hogweed Trotters t-shirt on & being offered encouragement as a 'Hoggy' was great. Thanks to everyone who gave up their Sunday to help.

In short: Fantastic organisation & cakes to die for
In full: The best organised race I have ever attended & oh so friendly. A tough course, but the fact that I was back for the 3rd time is a testament to the smooth running & friendliness of all involved. Only a shame I have to wait another year for more cakes!

In short: Excellently organised - shame the weather couldn't be sorted!
In full: The organisation of the race was faultless, fellow nutters who ran in the wind & rain were all very friendly. I will definitely be back.

In short: Millenium stadium compensated for the poor organisation
In full: Disappointing organisation meant chaos for the first 5 miles or so. No attempt was made to sort runners into their speed. There were bollards in the middle of the road which only seemed to serve the purpose of tripping people up. The course around the docks was very narrow on the return as were numerous points in the park. I felt it was more of an obstacle course than a half marathon in places & people seemed to take advantage of the lack of barriers by running on pavements rather than the road as directed. I feel sorry for the volunteers who were expected to marshal to compensate for the lack of up front organisation. The finish in the stadium was a fantastic feeling.
