In full: Four extremely dull laps of a section of Battersea Park; no individual km markers; no baggage store. Couldn't hear a word said by the man starting the race (his loud speaker technique was somewhat lacking!)

I do realise this race is organised by a charity but it was expensive and you got very little for your money. I don't understand how it's ok to say there's no baggage storage. What are you supposed to do with your keys, phone, cash, Oyster, warm clothing - all things you need to get to the race unless you drive there; live next door; or have a friend standing around waiting for you?

I've done this race in the past (a few years ago) but I wouldn't do it again.

In short: Pleasant race, fairly well-organised, dull route up and down same road but fairly flat!

In short: Nice atmosphere but small field so a bit intimidating for beginners.
In full: A friendly and inclusive atmosphere but three laps and a small field made it less ideal for beginners. Good to have changing facilities and a nice idea to give out free bagels at the end. No supporters to speak of, though; felt more like a club run than a race. Location (Victoria Park) was fairly scenic but a long walk from the tube and then quite a walk from the changing rooms/baggage store to the starting line as well. Was knackered before I even started!

In short: Flat course, nice atmosphere
In full: Enjoyable race, unintimidating for beginners and very flat allowing for fast times. The scenery is attractive if repetitive by the third lap!
