In short: Hard challenging race but very rewarding buzz when you finish the race
In full: This was tough half marathon for me but would do it again .The senery was fantastic if was not to focus on the race . The hill before higher heights check point and the hill before boss more chech point were both a killer . last one was so hard I walked . Will definately do more off road marathon and maybe a full one one day . Fanstastic day out . This will not be my last .

In short: Tallawah = Jamaica patwa for Tough
In full: This was a Tallawah!!! My body when through all kinds of emotion and at one stage I even thought I had a heart attack .Back to race there was some beautiful scenery on the moor which every now then woke my inner soul and reminded why like running in the fell. This being my first type of fell race as giving motivation do more and one day do the big three peak challenge. Still high on the endorphin it time to shut up . See next year. Also have more X.L T-shirt please .That was my only complaint. Some runners are 3 litre engine not 1.1 litre.

In short: Very nice and beautiful senic challenging run
In full: Very nice day for running this trail race in Ilkley which I must admitt show a side that I never seen before. Just curious as how long the distance was as this had been change from the orignal 8 mile to something less.Would do this again. It was beautiful nice suuny day with picturesque view if you did not stay too focus in the race and a look round .Also forgot to mention running through woods was a thrill and the many bogs just added more spice . Just one dig and they know who they are!If don't want get you trainers dirty please do roads race and not a trail please because you slow others down trying to keep them clean .

In full: This was my first race at Harewood house so was expecting to be running on no roads at all so was disappointed it was not traffic free.Found the fallen tree a chanlenge jumping over it .Gave a feel of steeple chase .Maybe it me but why not have women and men run together as they do in others races.Women love to out do men when heavy lifting not require .I will do again if it is totally traffic free .Thats what appeal to me in the first place and that why I enter .

In short: challenging induction if you have not done a 10k before
In full: Very friendly organse race. Multi terrain and variouse surface.Be prepare for some hills. If you are a beginner you could flew off two quick so hold back as there variuse stages on the course where you need low gear to get up so mini steep hill .About 9k is where you can switch to high gear and kick for the finish like a kenyan .
