In short: Nice race
In full: Few points - there was no baggage that I could see which is a major downer if you're not coming by car.

Otherwise a nice course with good marshalling

In short: Good Pb course
In full: Has sorted out a number of its former timing issues and has become a well marshalled massive half in the south - Good race.

In short: Always on my race calender
In full: I love the 3 race series - and well Stevenage isn't all that beautiful but its dark and I didn't have my glasses so I may have missed a beauty spot or two - hang on its a 5k sod the scenery - run faster

Organisation is excellent, marshals great, food & helpers afterwards superb and its given me some pb's. Competative at the front and friendly at the back - gets a good club turn out from the local clubs and is a good race for the slow or speedy alike. My favourite 5k.

In short: The course "wasn't hard enough" - according to the Event organiser Dr Rob - He is insane...
In full: After an hour of slogging up and down hills, Some nice pedestrians warned me it was slippy on the steps - I yelled back "I've just come down them thanks, I'll be ok" - and then I fell over in the mud. That pretty much sums it up - I had a bad dream last night about hills...

I loved this event - good things don't come cheap, but it's not criminally priced - most of your entry goes to charity and you get massive value for money (and a unique momento and very cool medal this year). It's probably one of the top 3 friendliest races I've run.

I downloaded the long video - which is great, and as an added bonus if you watch it on fast forward it sound like an episode of "Morph".

In short: An experience to be had - but a costly one
In full: I loved the race - but i still think £46 is too steep for what it is (and that's without the £5 day licence - which varies race to race in cost!?!)- great friendly marshalls (thanks folks) and yes there was plenty of water on the course - yes nice sweatshirt, but give me a cheap t-shirt and/or a decent medal and charge me £30-£35 for the race and I'd do it every year for the scenery and beating that hill into submission a bit more every time. Plus i'd fool my friends into enetering too.
