In short: Nice race and excellent goody bag.
In full: One or two teething troubles, as could be expected from any first time event, but a good course, plenty of water stations and the marshalls did a great job.

In short: Nice friendly race.
In full: This is a nice friendly race with great marshalls and enthusiastic organisation. There is a bit of variety in the six laps and excellent organisation of water stations. I think that the packed lunch provided at the end is a very nice touch.

In short: Superb event, shame about the heat
In full: This was a small scale event done very well. Six laps of a flat course, mostly on tarmac paths but with two sections on grass and one on gravel. In cooler conditions this would have been a brilliant race but at times I found it very hard to keep running on account of the heat. It was very enjoyable nonetheless. There were two water stations on each lap which is a few more than you would get at other races and they were really needed in the heat. The stewards had a list of names of runners so they could look us up and shout out encouragement to us by name. This was great for lifting the spirits. A medal and certificate for finishers and the food bag we were given was super. A big PB for me but, like others, I found the course a little short.

In short: Well organised race, great goody bag.
In full: This was a nice, flattish, course which enabled me to get a PB.
