In full: Brilliant on so many levels this is a must do race, much as I hate to admit, this race has it all (I want to do it again so dont want to encourage anyone....Oh yes, the goody bag is tat!Where do the marshalls get there enthusiasm (should all be motivational trainers). Tony the compere can only be described as one in amillion and his humour is infectious! Will have to enter early cos I just have to be back again, oops forgot to say New PB (thank you Stockport!!!!)

In short: Excellent friendly, well organised event
In full: Debut event but wouldnt know it! Sports hall based facilities with loads of room and parking. Organisers and marshalls superb and very supportive, generous goody bag and lovely distinctive tropies. Ideal for first timers or seasoned athletes alike with a fast 2 lap course which is mildly challenging and predominantly traffic free. Highly recommended!

In short: Good course around the city with a good atmosphere
In full: Start line confusion needs sorting. Most races of this size have designated pens why does Liverpool have to be different in this matter...Organisers could learn a lot from the likes of BUPA.

In short: Fantastic event on the glorious Clwydian hills, tough but very rewarding and well organised.
In full: A mixed terrain race, mainly off road with a large amount of ascent particularly in the second half of the race.Very well organised with staggered start times to prevent too many people on the course together- worked very well. Walkers as well as seasoned fell runners catered for with some excellent runners present and nivices alike. Plenty of water available on route with soup at half way and stew at the finish. Overall superb and I will definately be back.

In short: Disappointing and not up to standard
In full: Issues with course marking (not due to organisers)and lack of marshals meant many runners going the wrong way. results innacurate due to problems with the course. I was heading for a pb but ended up 2 minutes adrift after going the wrong way and covering 13.5 miles.

In short: Brilliant
In full: Was in two minds about entering this as it clashed with another event I always do. Glad I did it, one of the best events ever. Weather proved interesting but loved the hills and the general organisation and that compare on the mic....Awesome!!!
