In short: A Grand day out
In full: OK, I knew I would never get a PB with those hills, but I really enjoyed this race. Great weather, super scenery, 2,000 + runners having fun and smiling

In short: Just a tad too hot for me
In full: Not a good idea running with a full blown snotty cold, made breathing very difficult! Nice friendly race though, plenty of free parking nearby. Odd colour t-shirt!

In short: a pleasant mid week event
In full: a good mix a terrain, bit of road, bit of trail. Hard going up that flipping hill. Well done Toonie Express!

In short: Flipping Hot!
In full: Well done Notfast. A well organised race, my first race after a lay off for injury. Nice tech t-shirt at the end, bargain race! Showers and beer a welcome bonus.

In full: Thank you Ivanhoe runners. Very well organised and friendly. I had to drop out with achilles problems and was very well looked after

In short: A good run, but chaos at the end.
In full: The actual running was great, fantastic support from the people of bath with lots of lovely people handing out jelly babies and the Scouts were very enthusiastic at their lucozade station. A good fast course without any major hills. The start was prompt, but a lot of hanging around on a cold day. However, the runners village created huge bottlenecks of crowds before the race and at the the end far too many runners were pushed into a narrow lane back into the runners village causing far too big a crowd.

In short: Fantastic Muddy Fun!
In full: So much muddy fun! Very wet and muddy under foot - glad I'd got trail shoes. And you get tea, cakes, flapjack, pizza etc. at the check points and then soup and pud at the end. Very friendly and well organised. The best fun I've had running for ages.

In short: Superb Organisation
In full: The longest I have ever run! A challenging race will 3 hills on each lap, one of which was a killer. However, the marshalls were fantastic and yummy bacon butties in the village hall afterwards. Well done yaxley runners!

In short: Worth the trip out
In full: A challenging race for me - never done a trail race before, I'm used to tarmac! The only negative was having to run almost right up to the finish line at the end of the first 5K, a right demotivator. My 4 year old son enjoyed the 2K, very family friendly.
