In short: Good event, 2.5 lap course good for spectators too In full: Good event, well run, Water was dispensed form beer barrels (handed to the runners in cups) and the km markers on bottle shaped markers - can you tell it was sponsored by a brewery? (and a fine one at that) Definitely on the list for next year. Date of review: November 22, 2009

In short: Great runners race - even at the slower end like me In full: For me better than the Great North Run in every respect apart from the bonkers Geordie support. Logistically simpler, scenery infinitely better, much simpler for supporters and quite a quick course too.

In short: With that many runners somethings will never be quite right, but walking 3 miles to the start line having parked on the official finish car park, catching the recommended bus etc. was a bit much Date of review: September 25, 2009
