In short: Good run, bit blustery.
In full: The bluebells were past their best, but still an enjoyable run in the sun - and wind

In short: Enjoyable
In full: Well organised, nice wide start. Varied route with intermittent but good local support. Enough changes of scenery and direction to keep it interesting. I'm not a medal person but this was very impressive, and the goody bag had obviously had some thought and effort put into it.

In short: Interesting course with some fairly long uphill bits.
In full: Overall very good.

One bit of feedback for organisers - I (intentionally) arrived at the start area with only about 5 mins to go, and it was a bit difficult to make my way through the faster runners already standing near the start-line. Perhaps open a channel at the side for competitors to go around the back so they can join at the right place for their speed?

In short: A good morning out
In full: Very good weather and a pleasant start/finish location. Good organisation when I entered on the day. Route variable - some nice bits but also running along some roads with traffic. Nice family atmosphere with a couple of fair rides and children's races.

In short: Very enjoyable, despite the rain
In full: Rain made the atmosphere nice and fresh, but caused a couple of big puddles that were unavoidable. Recent hot weather followed by the rain also meant the bluebells were past their best, but still a very pleasant route/course.

In short: Good race, somewhat challenging with a long (but not steep) hill, not helped by humid conditions. Excellent water supplies.

In short: Great events like this make it so rewarding being a runner - its worth all those cold, damp, dark training runs.
In full: Very pleasant course, and friendly but efficient feel to the whole occasion. Helped this year by ideal weather conditions.

In short: Every runner should do this at least once - won't rush to do it again, I found 4 months preparation tougher than running it
In full: Fantastic atmosphere, wonderful crowds, historic route.
Seems churlish to criticise, but why was the course so narrow around miles 16-17 (half-empty road roped off), and couldn't the exit from the finish area have been better managed?
Still brilliant.
