In short: doesn't get any easier with experience but at least you know when the killer hills are coming up In full: this is a fantastic event. I have been lucky enough to run it every year so far and each year I appreciate it more. I defy anybody to run up the killer hill at 12.5 miles, but the downhill swoop to the finish line seems all the better for that. The whole thing is wonderfully organised and while it is a bit pricy it is well worth the money. A truly memorable day.

In short: just a fantastic day. Beautiful scenery, a challenging run and brilliantly organised. In full: this event just keeps getting better. the scenery is magnificent and there is some wonderful running all the way. Bits of it are fairly lung busting but you have a great sense of achievement when you finish. the event is kept to a sensible size and the organisation is first rate, including a great full English breakfast on your return Date of review: March 9, 2010
