In short: I love this race, good organisation, great goodies, the forest is glorious. In full: From the second you arrive, you're greeted by smiling marshalls. Once your number is on they call you by your name, shouting encouragement. The race itself is hard, you have to pace the uphill section and hang on for dear life on the downhill ! There's a kick at the end, but the looong downhill open sprint to the finish is great. Everyone cheering you on, even at the back of the field you see some great sprint finishes. If you want a small friendly well organised race, set in beautiful countryside, I can't see you finding one any better than this.
In short: I'll be back next year. In full: If anyone wants an example of how to organise a perfect race, this is it. Superb marshalling, facilities, gifts and atmosphere. No pressure and nice friendly people. Date of review: March 8, 2010
