In short: The best orgainsed, and hilliest, race I've experienced, a real challenge that generates a huge high at the finish. Every runner should run this race at least once.

In short: Don't be put off by the "beast" in the title, it's not that bad. Lovely course with as many downhill stretches as uphill.

In short: Still a great race but no beer and no mulled wine for the spectators this year.

In short: Nice course, some lengthy uphill stretches but nice downhills to match where you can push the pace. My spectator commented on the best cakes at a race ever (Victoris sponge).

In short: If you only do one race a year, make it the Pirton Boxing Day 5k. The atmosphere is brilliant and the scenery this year, covered in snow, was glorious.

In short: The "Great" run organisation lives up to its name, including Great Weather.
In full: Great organisation, great course, great goody bag, great crowds. Already entered for next year. If you only do one run next year, make it the GSR!
