In short: Flat and fast with lots of encouragment and a grandstand finish with bunting.
In full: A really good race. I normally suffer from going off too fast and pay the price on a hill halfway round, but this is so flat it's easy to get your pacing right. I was aiming for 1:55 but came in at 1:51 no trouble.

Nice goody bag and technical T-shirt but the chocolate brownie right after the finish line was worth the 13.1 miles alone :)

In short: Flat and fast but a bit exposed in places if the wind gets up. Nice goody bag. Definitely one to repeat.

In short: Flat, fast albeit dull course made for PBs. Poor starting organisation cost time.
In full: Flat country lanes across open farmland makes this a great race for PBs. The downside was the organisation, just 2 toilets in a nearby pub for 250 competitors & supporters simply isn't enough. The "starting funnel" to herd competitors through the narrow park gates cost me the best part of a minute before I could start running. They should definitely consider switching the start and finish points to avoid this fiasco, alternatively chip timing could be employed.

In short: Excellent low key event with definite PB potential - highly recommended
In full: A great course through the countryside along pleasant country lanes with the odd rolling hill to add interest. Friendly atmosphere with lots of encouragement from other runners/organisers. Beat my PB by 5 minutes!

In short: Nice race, plenty of water stations, only hiccup being the parked cars at the start.
In full: Very warm and sunny day, so didn't get a PB but with the right conditions that would be very possible. Avoiding the parked cars made the start a bit like the hokey-cokey, otherwise the organisation was excellent.

In short: well organised, excellent facilities, really nice run through the woods.
In full: One of the best organised events I've been to with a real family atmosphere. Nice wide paths through the woods with enough hills to make it interesting.

In short: Hot and hilly, a gruelling challenge
In full: A scary number of people collapsed by the roadside keeping the paramedics very busy.

It'd be better if they shifted the start time forward to avoid the heat.
