In short: A good first marathon, very scenic
In full: This race was well organised but could have done with runners lining up in in order of expected finishing time. I lost time in the first mile when all the runners came to a grinding halt while on the second lap of the town.

This aside, it was my first marathon and enjoyed it very much especially the lady in welford with the hosepipe :-)

In short: Great PB potential
In full: Excellent race. Well placed water and Lucozade stations and the option of following a pacemaker.

The best part for me was the stadium finish! Knocked 11 minutes off my PB so will def be back next year.
