In short: PB'd today, but scrum at start through woods took edge off day. In full: Can't moan too much as I got a PB - weather fantastic for running (cold & slight drizzle). Once going, all went well. Rain turned botton end of field into a sludge and only just got onto road before start. Interested to see Runner's World 12 min mile pacers standing at the 1:30 post, even with my maths I knew that wasn't right! Date of review: March 16, 2008

In short: Undulating 4 lapper not as bad as expected... In full: Great atmospehere in the old club house - old photos and ancient spikes from the Olympics on the walls. Plenty of changing though possibly ned more loos. Pre start gathering up may need to be louder. Started promptly. Hills mades you work for your effort and though I'm not a fan of lapped races, it was not so bad as I thought it was going to be, especially being serenaded by 2 marshals singing and playing guitar... Got a "Star" Medal (some seemed to get a different version) not sure why there was a difference.
Liked the "Free Drink" voucher - had a hot chocolate. Got a PB for the distance as preparation for the FLM so generally well pleased! Date of review: March 9, 2008
